Valentine Gift Sale The Arc of
Stanly County, Inc. is once again conducting its
annual Valentine Gift Sale (Project Cupid). Last
year over 700 recipients - secretaries, bosses,
teachers, mail carriers, wives, husbands, ‘secret
pals’, shut- ins, etc. – were remembered in a
special way. This annual fundraiser began eight
years ago and has been successful since that time.
There are several ways that folks in Stanly County
can be a part of Project Cupid 2003:
- A contribution can be made to provide a gift
for someone in the community.
- Provide the name of someone in the community
who needs their life touched, but is unlikely to
be remembered.
- Purchase a Valentine gift for someone
special. Each decorative Valentine Gift box,
which sells for $10.00, contains Welch’s juice,
muffin, Chocolate Turtles, gift and card.
For more information on this annual
event, contact Meredith Clements, Development
Manager, at Arc Services, Inc. at (704) 983- 3911.
